Gain practical experience in the everyday running of an online store, from processing orders to handling stock and returns.

This role involves supporting accurate order processing, keeping stock information up to date and helping prepare goods for customers, with supervision throughout.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Order validation: Monitoring incoming digital order queues and printing packing slips, invoicing sheets and delivery notes.

• Customer verification: Checking order specifications for accuracy, including custom requests and shipping rules.

• Label generation: Using digital shipping software to generate courier tracking numbers and postage labels.

• Goods intake processing: Receiving physical stock deliveries, counting quantities and checking them against supplier delivery sheets.

• Digital inventory input: Processing new stock into the e-commerce backend system so products are live for customers to purchase.

• Discrepancy logging: Helping investigate mismatches between physical stock and system stock.

• Pick and pack support: Locating items using SKU codes, verifying size and colour variants, and packing items securely.

• Returns validation: Inspecting returns, assessing their resale condition and updating the system for exchanges or store credits.
