About the role

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Business and Administration Trainee to join our experienced head-office team.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the aviation industry. No previous work experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will learn about our international business while supporting our sales, marketing and administration activities.

Key responsibilities

• Helping to promote our services to airlines worldwide through email campaigns, mailshots, telephone contact and the distribution of marketing materials.

• Acting as a point of contact for contractors and responding to questions about payments, applications, holidays and other matters.

• Contacting pilots by telephone and email to tell them about flying opportunities and explain the relevant contract terms.

• Providing general administrative support to the wider team.

• Assisting with basic in-house computer and technology issues where possible.

• Contributing fresh ideas to help the company develop and improve.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is confident, articulate and able to communicate professionally in person and by telephone.

• Can write clear, grammatically correct business correspondence.

• Is enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to learn.

• Has a good level of computer literacy.

• Has some commercial awareness.

• Lives within approximately 30 minutes’ commuting distance of Epsom High Street.

Knowledge of one or more foreign languages would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

You will receive the training and support needed to work effectively within the airline recruitment and leasing industry. You will be part of an exceptionally experienced, professional and talented team, giving you the opportunity to build valuable knowledge and commercial skills.

Once fully trained, you may also have opportunities to represent Brookfield Aviation International at client meetings.
